HISTORY

I was born and raised at Fort Worth, Texas. My passion for photography began in the 1970's. In the mid 1980's came the addition of a darkroom.  I could no longer get the professional results I was pursuing with commercial photo labs. Then along came digital cameras. Now the cameras and the darkroom are all digital. Finally I have complete control of the photography workflow and creation.

EQUIPMENT

I'm exclusively using a professional digital camera, a Nikon D3. It has a larger image sensor producing the quality of larger format film. It is without a doubt the finest digital SLR camera for portrait photography, producing the highest quality possible, rich in clarity and color. Capable of 11 frames per second. Equally or more important than the camera body is the selection of the highest quality Nikon/Nikkor lenses. The imaging software I use is the industry standard, Adobe Photoshop.
